Dubai Police celebrate community heroes for record-breaking dedication

Dubai Police have bestowed special recognition upon three exceptional community members for their unparalleled devotion to volunteering.

Mrs. Aisha Ali Mohammed, Mr. Nasser Ammar Ahmed, and Mr. Mohammed Kamal Mohammed emerged as the top three volunteers, setting an inspiring record for their active participation in the force’s volunteer initiatives across the emirate.


Major General Dr. Abdul Quddus Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidli, the Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Excellence and Pioneering Affairs in Dubai Police, took the honor of presenting certificates of commendation to these outstanding individuals.

The ceremony underscored their outstanding commitment and dedication to serving the community, reflecting Dubai Police’s ongoing commitment to recognizing diverse contributions that positively impact society.

Maj. Gen. Al Obaidli, while applauding the three honorees, expressed that this gesture symbolizes the force’s dedication to acknowledging community members from various backgrounds for their positive contributions.

He emphasized that the recognition aims to foster a culture of volunteerism and gratitude within the society.

Highlighting the significance of community engagement, the ceremony showcased the remarkable achievements of the volunteers who collectively contributed an impressive 136,602 volunteering hours during the first half of 2023.

These hours were dedicated to a range of humanitarian and community initiatives, illustrating the pivotal role played by volunteers in enhancing security, safety, and overall happiness within the community.

The Dubai Police’s volunteer platform, which served as the stage for these outstanding achievements, offers a diverse array of opportunities and experiences for volunteers to engage in and provide humanitarian services across various societal domains.
