Nigerian pastor raises over 6.3m for widow with 6 children

Pastor Dr. Gabriel Ademola Amusan, the founder of Agbala Gabriel in Ibadan, has exhibited compassion by successfully raising a commendable sum of N6.3 million for Mrs. Aina, a widow with six children.

The generous contributions, totaling N2.3 million from compassionate individuals and a remarkable N4 million from a benevolent woman, were disclosed by Pastor Amusan in a heartfelt video shared on his Facebook page on February 2, 2024.

During a live programme at the church two days before the announcement, the widow, Mrs. Aina, was featured, capturing the attention and empathy of viewers.

Pastor Amusan revealed that the substantial N4 million donation came from a woman of God who had been moved by Mrs. Aina’s plight after watching the programme.

Highlighting the extraordinary nature of this assistance, Pastor Amusan emphasized the divine grace at play, noting that the generous donor expressed the intention to fund the construction of a three-bedroom apartment for Mrs. Aina and her children, covering the entire expense.

“After watching the programme, a woman of God sent a sum of N4 million to the widow and her children,” Amusan said.

He added, “This is real divine grace. The donor insisted that a three-bed room apartment be built for the woman. She has demonstrated willingness to foot the whole bill.”

In reflecting on Mrs. Aina’s challenges following her husband’s demise, she shared her poignant story, recounting her previous profession as a hairdresser.

However, with the loss of her husband, she had to sell all her belongings to provide for her children, leaving her in a vulnerable state.

“I was once a hairdresser. But after the death of my husband, I sold all my gadgets to feed my children. Now, I have nothing to rely on,” she narrated.

Pastor Amusan concluded by affirming the transformative power of grace, stating, “When grace locates you, it transforms your life.”
