President Barrow inaugurates S State-of-the-art health facility in Salikenni
In a significant boost to local healthcare infrastructure, His Excellency President Adama Barrow has inaugurated a multi-million Dalasi health facility in Salikenni, Central Badibu.
This newly established center, the first of its kind in the region, is set to dramatically improve medical services for residents and neighboring communities.
The cutting-edge medical facility is equipped with modern healthcare technology, eliminating the need for locals to travel long distances for medical treatment.
This advancement marks a major step forward in local healthcare provision, easing the burden on the community and enhancing overall health outcomes.
Addressing the assembled crowd, President Barrow emphasized that this project aligns with the goals set out in the National Development Plan (NDP) YIRIWA 2023-2027.
“Our efforts in the health sector are paramount,” he stated, highlighting the government’s commitment to improving healthcare access and quality.
In a nod to historical legacy and national pride, President Barrow named the health center after Sheriff Mustapha Dibba, one of the founding fathers of The Gambia’s independence.
