Mandingue Community elects Mory Kouyate electoral team leader
Mory Kouyate has been elected by the Mandingue community of America to lead the team responsible for organizing the upcoming general elections of Mandingue Nko West Africa, Inc. His election marks a significant moment for the community, with Kouyate expressing deep gratitude for the trust placed in him once again.
Having previously served on the electoral board during the last elections in the Bronx, where turnout exceeded one thousand voters from all five boroughs—Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, The Bronx, and Staten Island—Kouyate understands the magnitude of this responsibility. “This choice by the Mandingue community is not just an honor; it represents a profound commitment to our democratic values,” he stated.
Kouyate, a true son of Mandingue, grew up in Kankan (Kabadala), with roots in Kouroussa and Faranah. His long-standing dedication as a community leader underscores the significance of his new role. “I do not take this lightly,” he affirmed, recognizing the symbolic weight of his election.
He extended his gratitude to the community’s elders and the executive board of Mandingue for setting aside differences to unify and create a neutral, independent electoral board. “This is what unity looks like,” Kouyate emphasized.
As he prepares for the upcoming elections, Kouyate reassured the community of his commitment to transparency and impartiality in the electoral process. “Rest assured, we will carry out the upcoming elections with integrity. I will never betray your trust,” he vowed.
With Mory Kouyate at the helm, the Mandingue community looks forward to a fair and transparent electoral process that honors their shared values and aspirations.
