UK to nominate Nigerian-born law Professor Dapo Akande for International Court of Justice in 2026

Akande, a distinguished professor of public international law at the University of Oxford, has earned global recognition for his expertise. His nomination, supported by the UK, Nigeria, Japan, Kenya, and Slovenia, highlights his growing influence in international legal circles.
