Bo, Sierra Leone: Sidie Tunis donates NLe 500,000 to support OBBA School projects
The former Speaker of the ECOWAS Parliament and Member of Parliament for Pujehun District, Rt. Hon. Dr. Sidie Mohamed Tunis, has contributed NLe 500,000 to the Old Bo Boys Association (OBBA) as part of efforts to support ongoing school projects.
The donation was made during the OBBA Bo Branch Barbeque Dinner and Fundraising event, where Dr. Tunis, serving as a distinguished Grand Chief Patron, reaffirmed his commitment to the association’s initiatives.
“This donation is to help support the OBBA Executive with the completion of a duplex staff quarter, establishment of a school garden and greening of the campus, launching of a recruitment scheme for pupils from northern and eastern districts, and refurbishment of the OBBA stage,” Dr. Tunis stated.
The OBBA Executive expressed profound gratitude to Dr. Tunis for his generosity and promised to ensure that the funds are used for their intended purposes.
