Dubai police inspires artistic brilliance
In a bid to nurture artistic prowess and foster a deeper understanding of global masterpieces, Studio Al Sanaa, an innovative initiative by the Dubai Police, orchestrated a captivating educational escapade for the students of Hemaya School.
The primary objective of this meticulously planned visit was to elevate the students’ artistic skills by honing their abilities in observation, analysis, composition, color utilization, and grasping the nuances of light and shadow values.
Moza Al Suboosi, the driving force behind the initiative, expressed the profound impact of such excursions on the students’ artistic capabilities.
She articulated, “The visit not only polished the skills of Hemaya School students but also provided them with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the works of internationally acclaimed artists, fostering an interactive environment for learning and drawing inspiration from these artistic luminaries.”
Emphasizing the importance of the artistic venture, Al Suboosi underscored its role in elevating students’ awareness of visual arts.
“This experience is integral to the gradual development of drawing skills, enhancing creativity, concentration, perceptual and sensory awareness, understanding mass and proportion, two-dimensional shape drawing, silhouettes, and expressing different lighting and textures,” she affirmed.
Al Suboosi further elucidated that Studio Al Sanaa’s initiative adheres to a scientifically accurate approach in teaching the fundamentals of drawing. She stressed the need for patience in mastering this intricate skill, noting, “Drawing mastery is not instantaneous; it demands years of practice and training. Encouraging students at their own pace, attentively observing their progress, and fostering positive guidance are pivotal in their development.”
The Studio Al Sanaa initiative stands as a beacon for cultivating artistic excellence among students, instilling in them a deep appreciation for the diverse and enriching world of visual arts.
