Warriors roar back with dominant victory over bucks

The Golden State Warriors, led by a resurgent Stephen Curry, decimated the Milwaukee Bucks 125-90 at San Francisco’s Chase Center on Wednesday. The victory came on the heels of a humiliating 52-point defeat to the Boston Celtics, showcasing the Warriors’ resilience and determination.

The Warriors wasted no time asserting dominance, pouring in 40 points in the first quarter and adding 38 more in the second, establishing a commanding 78-58 lead at halftime. Despite a brief rally from Milwaukee in the third quarter, the Warriors sealed the deal in the final frame, cruising to an emphatic win.

Curry, who scored 29 points, expressed the team’s ability to bounce back, stating, “For us to respond the way we did coming home was big. It shows what we’re trying to build and who we are.”

Jonathan Kuminga contributed with 20 points, while Trayce Jackson-Davis impressed from the bench with 15 points. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 23 points, but it wasn’t enough to halt the Warriors’ onslaught.

The win propelled the Warriors to a 33-28 record, securing ninth place in the Western Conference. Meanwhile, the Bucks, with a 41-22 record, remain in second place in the East, eight games behind the leaders, the Boston Celtics.

In other NBA action, the Orlando Magic extended their unbeaten streak to five games with a 119-109 victory over the Washington Wizards. Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero led the Magic’s comeback, overcoming a 21-point deficit in the second quarter.

The Los Angeles Clippers staged a remarkable comeback in Houston, overturning a 20-point deficit to defeat the Rockets 122-116. Kawhi Leonard led the Clippers with 28 points, while Paul George and James Harden added 21 each.

The Los Angeles Lakers, however, faced another setback, falling 130-120 to the Sacramento Kings. De’Aaron Fox’s stellar performance with 44 points turned the tide in favor of the Kings, as the Lakers unraveled in the second quarter.

The struggling Philadelphia 76ers suffered a 115-109 defeat at home to the Memphis Grizzlies, highlighting their challenges in the absence of injured stars Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey.
