Gambia: President Barrow chairs cabinet meeting to discuss gender policy, social protection, food safety
His Excellency President Adama Barrow chaired today’s Cabinet meeting at the State House in Banjul. The meeting focused on various crucial issues, including three paper presentations.
One of the key presentations was made by the Minister for Gender Children and Social Welfare, Honourable Fatou Kinteh. She presented a comprehensive paper on the National Gender Policy for the years 2025-2034. This policy aims to address gender disparities and promote gender equality across the nation. Another noteworthy presentation was delivered by Vice President Mohammed B.S. Jallow.
