WHO partners with TikTok to promote credible health information
The World Health Organization (WHO) has partners with TikTok in a year-long initiative to promote reliable, science-based health information. With over 1 billion users on TikTok, the collaboration aims to enhance health literacy and foster positive health behaviors by addressing misinformation prevalent on social media platforms.
Dr. Jeremy Farrar, WHO’s Chief Scientist, highlighted the importance of this partnership, emphasizing its potential to influence health discussions and improve access to credible information.
