Senegal: Sonatel Academy Celebrates 171 Graduates in 2024 Ceremony

On Thursday, May 22, a heartfelt and proud celebration was held to honour the 2024 graduating class of the École du Code – Sonatel Academy, as 171 young graduates were recognised in the presence of their families, partners, and dignitaries.
The graduation ceremony took place under the high patronage of Mr. Amadou Moustapha Njekk Sarré, Senegal’s Minister of Technical and Vocational Training, and served as a powerful tribute to the potential and promise of Senegalese youth.
Special appreciation was extended to the ceremonial sponsor, Dr. Aida Mbodji, the official General Delegate of the Delegation for Rapid Entrepreneurship (DER), whose inspiring presence and unwavering support added great significance to the occasion.
Distinguished guests also included Mr. Sékou Dramé, CEO of Sonatel, Mrs. Aminata Ndiaye, Deputy CEO, and Mrs. Awa Niang, Director of Institutional Communication and External Relations, who all reaffirmed Sonatel’s commitment to digital education and youth empowerment.
The event marked another major step in Sonatel’s ongoing mission through the Orange Digital Center, which aims to provide inclusive, high-quality training focused on employability and entrepreneurship.
