President Barrow to Launch Gambia Madrassah Integration Strategy

It has been confirmed that His Excellency President Adama Barrow, President of the Republic of The Gambia, is set to launch the muchanticipated Gambia Madrassah Integration Strategy.

The announcement was made by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology,

According to the ministry, the strategy is poised to make significant strides in educational reform by integrating Madrassah and Majalis education into the broader framework of Tertiary and Higher Education.

This integration will place a strong emphasis on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), as well as key areas within the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields.

The launch event is scheduled to take place on June 10th, 2025 at the SDKJICC in Bijilo, commencing at 10:00 AM.

“The Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology is thrilled to announce that His Excellency President Adama Barrow will officially launch the Gambia Madrassah Integration Strategy,” the announcement reads.
