Burglars steal $50k worth of jewelry, cash from Queens home
Two burglars broke into a Queens home and made off with $50,000 worth of jewelry and cash, police said Sunday.
The men smashed a sliding door and forced their way into the residence near 241st St. and 83rd Ave. in Bellerose Manor around 12:45 p.m. on Sept. 29, according to cops.
The perps were caught on home surveillance footage rifling through the living room of the private house.
They made off with $20,000 worth of jewelry and $30,000 cash, police said.
No one was injured.
Police on Sunday released surveillance footage of the burglars and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.
