PIU training school unleashes new wave of highly skilled DLEAG recruits in Gambia

In a momentous event held on November 8, 2023, Alhaji Bakary Gassama, the esteemed Director General of The Gambia’s Drug Law Enforcement Agency (DLEAG), led the graduation ceremony for a group of recruits who completed an intensive six-week regimen of drills and combat training at the Police Intervention Unit (PIU) in Kanifing.

The ceremony drew a distinguished audience, including senior officers from The Gambia Police Force, DLEAG, sister forces, and the proud family members of the accomplished officers.

The graduates, now equipped with enhanced skills and expertise, are poised to reinforce the frontlines in the relentless battle against drug-related crimes.
