Banjul to host Mayor of Bissau to strengthen bilateral ties

The Banjul City Council is preparing for a landmark visit as the Honorable José Medina Lobato, Mayor of Bissau, along with Mrs. Aissatu Ture, Chief of Staff, will be visiting from June 26 to June 28, 2024.

This significant event was announced by Mayor Malick Lowe on her Facebook page, expressing the council’s excitement and readiness to host their distinguished guests.


The visit will feature a series of key events designed to enhance cooperation between Banjul and Bissau. Highlights include bilateral discussions and the formal signing of a cooperation agreement, which aims to solidify the partnership between the two cities.
