Cotonou to host preparatory meeting for FARI-2025, paves way for West African scientific innovation

Cotonou, Benin, is set to become a hub of scientific and technological strategizing as the International Preparatory Committee for the second edition of the African Forum for Research and Innovation (FARI-2025) meets from June 25th to 28th, 2024. This pivotal gathering aims to shape the future of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) science, technology, and innovation landscape.

The committee’s agenda includes approving key scientific topics, formulating organizational strategies, and defining the main theme and sub-themes for FARI-2025.


Participants will discuss discussion panels and the implementation period, ensuring a comprehensive and effective forum next year.
