Napoli snubs PSG’s stunning €200m bid for Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia

Napoli has rejected an eye-watering €200 million offer from Paris Saint-Germain for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen and his teammate Kvicha Kvaratskhelia.**

According to Italy’s esteemed Corriere dello Sport, the French champions were eager to bolster their squad with the dynamic duo, tabling a colossal bid in their pursuit. However, Napoli has made it clear that only Osimhen is up for discussion this summer.

Despite a challenging 2023/24 season, where Napoli managed a modest 13 wins, 11 losses, and 14 draws, Osimhen shone brightly. The prolific striker netted 15 goals and provided three assists in just 25 league appearances, underscoring his value to the team.

As the transfer window heats up, Napoli has wasted no time in strengthening their squad. The club has secured the services of Torino and Italy defender Alessandro Buongiorno for a reported €35 million, with an additional €5 million in bonuses. The 24-year-old defender has committed to a contract running until 2029, earning an annual salary of €2.5 million.

While the footballing world watches closely, the saga surrounding Osimhen’s future continues to unfold, promising more twists and turns in the weeks to come.
