Police arrest 67 nationals for various offenses

The Gambia police have arrested 67 individuals from various nationalities for multiple offenses in the KM Region.

This extensive crackdown carried by a joint taskforce was part of a special night patrol designed to enhance safety and deter criminal activities across key urban areas.

The task force, which includes personnel from The Gambia National Army, State Intelligence Service, and the Drug Law Enforcement Agency (DLEAG), focused its efforts on high-traffic areas known for illicit activities, including Manjai, Bakoteh, Kotu, Kololi, West Park, City Pub, and Class One Brothels.

During the operation, initial screenings were conducted, leading to the detention of the suspects, who are now under investigation as authorities work to unravel the full scope of their offenses.

The Gambia Police Force has reiterated its unwavering commitment to ensuring peace and security for all citizens and residents, highlighting this operation as a testament to their proactive approach to crime prevention.
