Banjul Mayor, Malick Lowe honored as African Woman of the Year 2024

Lord Mayor Rohey Malick Lowe, the current Mayor of Banjul, Gambia, has been awarded the prestigious title of “African Woman of the Year 2024”.

The Voice news magazine, in collaboration with the Voice Achievers Award, has recognized Mayor Lowe’s exceptional dedication and commitment to serving her community and the nation as a whole.

The award ceremony, where Mayor Lowe will officially receive the title of “African Woman of the Year 2024”, is scheduled to take place on August 16th, 2024, at the Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya. This prestigious event, organized by The Voice Achievers Award, will further strengthen the recognition and influence of the Gambia in the international arena.
