In a proactive step toward governance Changes, President Felix Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of Congo DRC announced plans to create a commission that will examine potential country’s Constitutional updates.Speaking to a supportive crowd in Kisangani, Tshisekedi highlighted that the current 2006 Constitution may not fully reflect the nation’s unique realities and evolving needs.

He reassured citizens that the proposed changes would serve the country and not extend his presidential term, as some critics suggest.
