US Lawmaker Torres Condemns Trump for Attacking Iran

A member of the United States Congress, Norma Torres, has publicly condemned President Donald Trump over his actions targeting Iran.

The lawmaker accused him of bypassing constitutional processes and endangering American lives.

In a strongly worded statement, she declared: “Donald Trump illegally attacked a foreign country, putting American lives at risk — our troops, our families, our communities. He bypassed Congress & the Constitution. Now, the American people will be forced to pay the price for his recklessness. This is not leadership.”

Her remarks reflect mounting concern among some U.S. lawmakers over the legality and implications of Trump’s unilateral military decisions.

Meanwhile, Senator Bernie Sanders also weighed in on recent escalations, sharply criticizing Israel for what he described as “unprovoked attacks on Iran” carried out on Friday.
