President Barrow Hosts Marina School Pupils at State House

In a heartwarming encounter that blended education with leadership inspiration, His Excellency President Adama Barrow today welcomed a group of first-grade students from Marina International School to the State House in Banjul.

The visit, part of the students’ academic school trip, offered them a rare opportunity to explore the seat of government and interact directly with the President.

The Secretary to the Cabinet and Head of the Civil Service, Mr. Alieu Njie, received the young visitors on behalf of the President and gave them a glimpse into the life and leadership values of the Gambian leader.

Mr. Njie highlighted President Barrow’s unwavering commitment to national peace and service to the people, describing him as “a beacon of inspiration” whose qualities students could emulate as they grow into future leaders.

The visit is part of efforts to deepen civic education and give young learners a practical understanding of governance and national institutions.
