OIC delegation briefs President Barrow on 15th OIC summit preparedness in Gambia
In a significant diplomatic meeting, the Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs at the OIC Secretariat, H.E Ambassador Yousef Al-Dobeay, led a high-level delegation to The Gambia on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.
The delegation’s primary objective was to brief President Adama Barrow on the state of preparedness for the hosting of the 15th Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Summit in The Gambia.
Ambassador Al-Dobeay, a prominent representative of the OIC, conveyed the organization’s commitment to ensure a successful Summit in The Gambia.
He assured President Barrow that “the OIC General Secretariat is ready and willing to cooperate in every way possible to make the event a resounding success.”

The president extended his gratitude to the OIC general secretariat for their cooperation and expressed his appreciation for their recognition of the vital role played by the secretariat in uniting the Muslim Ummah.
