President Barrow initiates national consultative dialogues
The Gambian President, Adamo Barrow, took the lead on Monday in a pivotal discussion with political party leaders, setting the stage for a series of national consultative dialogues.
The Statehouse in Banjul witnessed a significant gathering as leaders engaged in frank deliberations, addressing the theme: “Our Collective Responsibility in Preserving the Nation, Safeguarding the State, and Securing Our Resource.”
This meeting marks the commencement of a series of discussions leading up to the highly anticipated National Dialogue Day scheduled for February 16th at the SDKJ Conference in Bijilo. The dialogue aims to delve into crucial issues surrounding the nation’s political landscape, fostering a sense of collective responsibility among citizens.
President Barrow, in his welcoming remarks, passionately urged all Gambians, particularly politicians, to prioritize the nation’s interest. His call emphasized the crucial role of promoting, protecting, and nurturing peace and stability within the democratic framework.
