Mayor Eric Adams to meet REFELA Africa leaders
The Local Elected Woman’s Network of Africa (REFELA) has scheduled a meeting with New York City Mayor, Eric Adams.
According to REFELA President, the Mayor of Banjul, Malick Lowe, the meeting, which is scheduled to hold on Tuesday September 27, 2022, will discuss the future of the REFELA network.
In the invitation sent to other women elected officials in Africa and selected African leaders, Lowe appealed to them to join the important meeting with the New York City Mayor.
“The President of REFELA and the General Secretariat of UCLG Africa count on you to be there for this important meeting.
“Members of REFELA are convinced of your commitment to spread the word and convey the message to mobilize your peers from your national network in your respective countries to attend this strategic activity for the future of the REFELA network,” Lowe said.
“While waiting to receive your confirmations and those of your respective networks, we convey hereby the expression of our higher consideration,” she added.
